Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Manager to join our team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and ensuring exceptional customer service. If you have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the service department, including technicians and support staff
  • Provide guidance and training to service department employees
  • Ensure efficient workflow and productivity within the department
  • Schedule and assign work orders to technicians
  • Monitor progress of repairs and ensure timely completion
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in automotive technology is a plus
  • Experience as a Service Manager or similar role in an automotive dealership or repair shop
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in ordering parts online & over the phone
  • Familiarity with air brake systems, shocks/struts, oil changes, suspensions, alignments, and automotive diagnostics is preferred We offer competitive wages based on experience.
