Assistant Maintenance Manager

CHATT Foundation Assistant Maintenance Manager Reporting to the Director of Facilities at the CHATT Foundation, the Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining all CHATT facilities & assets, to include sourcing and hiring of outside contractors and management of all maintenance and custodial employees within their department. This position is also responsible for preventative and reparative maintenance to all CF buildings, equipment, and property. The Assistant Maintenance Manager provides trade skill labor, hands on assistance, and custodial support to the CHATT Foundation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform or source maintenance needs for all buildings owned by CHATT Foundation, to include: Building exteriors, interior maintenance, asset maintenance, fleet vehicle maintenance and more.
• Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of all CHATT Foundation assets.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all CHATT Foundation assets.
• Communicate and coordinate maintenance tasks with other Departments.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on HVAC, and all maintenance equipment
• Track and complete incoming maintenance requests via MaintenanceCare.
• Keep maintenance shop orderly and tidy.
• Assist in cleaning and supplying Community Center and Welcome Desk area, when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance on the front porch, ramp, and walkways.
• Maintain supply closet inventory and cleanliness.
• Maintain cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Advise Director of Facilities on regular supply needs.
• Regular & predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
• 3 years maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical experience preferred.
• Experience using industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Valid, U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to lift up 50lbs or more throughout the day.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for up to a full shift.
• Ability to work independently or with little supervision.
• Ability to transition between tasks on a moment's notice.
• Ability to handle crisis situations while maintaining professional composure and confidence.

$20.00 - $21.25 per hour
