Maintenance Supervisor for a manufacturing company

Summary:

This position is responsible for the structure, organization, safety, and direction of all maintenance team members and contracted resources in support of production equipment, general facility, security, and grounds.

Essential Job Function:

Plans, organizes, schedules and directs the work of maintenance team members by encouragement and motivation. Oversee preventive maintenance programs, maintain equipment records and calibrations Oversee and manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance history of plant equipment. Conduct employee Performance Reviews, 90, 180 and yearly. Maintain maintenance "On-Call" schedules for production support Ensuring that the manufacturing equipment is well maintained Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems. Author and update maintenance SOP's. Ensure local, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are met at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization Aptitude to solve problems quickly with advanced conflict resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Computer skills with Microsoft office applications and CMMS software Attention to detail and follow through Fork/scissor/aerial lift operation experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, chillers, and HVAC systems. Knowledge of electrical systems, automated controls and electrical safe work practices Working knowledge of CAD based software Teamwork, positive impression with fellow team members. Ability to work well under pressure and create solutions to serious conflicts quickly and competently. Have the ability to think outside the box to come up with workable solutions to difficult issues. Being able to identify problematic issues before they escalate. Have the ability to prioritize and adjust daily duties. Have the ability to stand for long periods of time and be willing to go above and beyond the call of duty.

1. 2- or 4-year Engineering degree or a related field. (Significant engineering or maintenance experience in a production type environment may be substituted for a 2- or 4-year Degree.) 2. 5+ years of related work experience with prior leadership skills.
