Job Description
Position Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role leads the maintenance team, develops preventive maintenance programs, manages repairs, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintenance Operations Plan, organize, and direct all maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and grounds. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and downtime. Coordinate emergency repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure timely resolution. Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency. Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards. Team Leadership Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance technicians and maintenance personnel. Schedule maintenance staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and production requirements. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and environmental requirements. Conduct safety inspections and participate in accident investigations and corrective actions.
