Job Title:
Maintenance Manager Position Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and efficient production support. This role leads the maintenance team, manages preventive maintenance programs, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance Lead, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and support staff Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs Ensure minimal equipment downtime and quick response to breakdowns Coordinate repairs, installations, and upgrades of machinery and equipment Manage maintenance budgets, expenses, and inventory of spare parts Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve equipment performance Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings Manage vendor relationships and external contractors as needed Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance standards Skills & Competencies Leadership and team development Organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Analytical thinking and continuous improvement mindset Work Environment Manufacturing or distribution center setting May require standing, walking, lifting, and working in varying temperatures Availability for off-shift support or emergency call-ins as needed
