Qualifications Education and Experience:
Experience equivalent to four years of increasingly responsible and skilled full-time labor and trades experience.
Necessary Special Qualifications:
A valid motor vehicle operator's license may be required for employment in some positions. Overview This position reports to a Facilities Supervisor and involves supervising and collaborating with a team of skilled and semi skilled maintenance professionals in groundskeeping. The role includes strategic planning, preventative maintenance, leadership, and coordination with other park operations in a fast-paced, visitor service-oriented environment. Responsibilities Supervises six full-time employees and multiple part-time positions utilizing performance management, monitoring hours, and human resources processes. Uses computer software to document and record work orders and preventative maintenance tracing. Thinks creatively to resolve issues within budget guidelines. Collaborates with regional facilities management. Manages and coordinates projects with non-state contractors in waste collection and lawncare services. Cooperates with other park teams and operations. Communicates closures or pertinent conditions to the visitor service teams to ensure the sharing of correct information. Assists the Facilities Supervisor and Park Manager 3 with creating an annual work program, work safety plan, and annual major maintenance request list. Competencies (KSA's)
