Job Description

Position Summary The File Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing item file accuracy, pricing integrity, and promotional execution throughout the store. This role ensures all price changes, advertisements, signage, and item setups are completed accurately and on time to support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily File Maintenance operations, including price changes, ad execution, item setup, and signage accuracy Ensure all shelf tags, labels, and promotional signs match register pricing and company standards Maintain item file integrity, including UPCs, descriptions, retails, costs, and tax status Train, coach, and support File Maintenance associates to meet accuracy and productivity expectations Conduct pricing audits and promptly resolve discrepancies Coordinate weekly ads, price events, and communication with store and department leadership Partner with department leaders on new item setups, planogram changes, resets, and seasonal transitions Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and local, state, and federal pricing regulations Maintain organized FMC work areas, files, supplies, and equipment Respond to pricing inquiries and customer concerns professionally Communicate system issues, workload needs, and operational opportunities to store leadership Uphold safety standards and participate in store‑wide safety and loss prevention initiatives Qualifications Previous retail, grocery, or file maintenance experience preferred Prior lead or supervisory experience a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective organizational and time‑management skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn pricing and item management systems Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays Core Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Operational execution Team leadership and accountability Compliance and policy adherence Customer service focus
