Job Detail:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This position requires hands-on industrial maintenance work, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic systems repair, and equipment calibration. You will work under moderate direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment reliability and overall plant productivity. With a focus on safety and quality, you will help maintain equipment reliability and contribute to a productive work environment. Join us to leverage your technical expertise and support our commitment to excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interpret and work from blueprints, machine drawings, and schematics. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Use electrical testing equipment to perform basic electrical repairs and installations. Adjust, calibrate, and maintain machinery for optimum performance. Perform preventative maintenance using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC systems, and related automation controls. Fabricate and install replacement parts or tools using lathes, drill presses, and other equipment. Ensure compliance with safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO). Maintain inventory levels and order parts and supplies as necessary. Operate and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support ISO and SMP (Self-Managed Performance) programs. Train and cross-train in various departmental procedures and functions. Document and manage non-conforming products, services, or systems. Required Education / Experience / Skills High School Diploma or GED required. Technical Degree or College Diploma in Industrial Technology preferred. 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and hydraulics. 5+ years of hands-on industrial hydraulic systems experience. Electrical License or 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience. Proficient in verbal and written English communication. Preferred Qualifications Strong numerical and mechanical reasoning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Certification in VFD Drive Programming. Familiarity with 500-505 Processor Control-Logix and Panel View Terminal using PanelBuilder software.Electrical / Pneumatic
