Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at a large residential and commercial property in the North Houston area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, coordinating repairs, maintaining property infrastructure, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, solving problems, and managing a wide variety of maintenance projects across buildings, grounds, and facility systems.
Location:
North Houston / Conroe Area Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team Assign, prioritize, and follow up on work orders and preventative maintenance tasks Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, and mechanical systems Monitor property conditions and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted work as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and equipment logs Assist with emergency response and after-hours maintenance situations when required Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, and general building maintenance Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and communication skills Valid driver's license required EPA, HVAC, CPO, or related certifications are a plus What We're Looking For The successful candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance team supervision with direct maintenance work.
