Maintenance Supervisor

Condo Maintenance Position (Island) compensation: Competitive rate based on supervisory experience type: full-time Condo Maintenance Supervisor Position; The maintenance supervisor is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of Island House grounds and facilities. This role is crucial for providing a safe and comfortable environment for guest and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Operations

• oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including but not limited to preventive maintenance of work orders and repairs.
• conduct daily walk through of hotel facilities to identify maintenance issues including buildings and condos; monthly checks to verify elevators, boilers and cerificates are up to date.
• develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• ensure maintenance staff has parts and inventory on hand to do their jobs and refrain from having to run to purchase items from more expensive stores like Ace hardware.
• keep an update list of all maintenance inventory including loaners visible.
• stay on top of all work orders that will require follow up
• other task as needed may be required as well.

TEAM MANANGEMENT

• manage and lead the maintenance team by aiding, guidance and support.
• assist maintenance staff with work orders daily and spot check work after work orders and completed to ensure work has been completed properly.
• recruit, train and supervise maintenance staff.
• coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs with minimal disruption to guest.

COMPLIANCE AND SAFTEY

• ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards are met.
• maintain proper record keeping of repairs and maintenance activites.
• collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance task.
