Electrical Supervisor

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

The Role The Electrical Supervisor plans, schedules, and supervises electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe operations, improved reliability, and minimized downtime. This role provides hands-on leadership to electrical maintenance technicians, enforces plant rules consistently, promotes positive employee relations, and drives continuous improvement using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles. Ensures all work is completed in compliance with environmental, health, safety, legal, and company requirements, including CertainTeed Principles of Conduct. Supervise hourly electrical maintenance employees performing installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and improvement of plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and building systems Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure quality, timeliness, and reliability Lead shift safety meetings and ensure compliance with EHS, OSHA, and

NFPA 70E

requirements Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime Develop PMs with Maintenance leadership and maintain equipment performance records in the CMMS Train, coach, evaluate, and discipline employees; support hiring and workforce planning Ensure employees and contractors are properly trained on equipment, electrical systems, and safety procedures Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable countermeasures for equipment failures Maintain workplace organization and 5S standards Manage outside contractors as needed Support and lead WCM initiatives, improvement projects, and problem-solving activities Review and approve employee time in UKG to ensure accurate payroll

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Requirements Ability to work day or night shift Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or 5 years equivalent industrial electrical maintenance experience (preferred) Technical diploma in engineering/manufacturing or equivalent experience; strong maintenance manufacturing knowledge (required) 5 -7 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM) tracking systems (required) Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments (required) Working knowledge of

ISO 9001, ISO

14001, and

OHSAS 18001

(required) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Six Sigma (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required) Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with UKG and SAP; strong computer skills for PM systems (required) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; electrical systems knowledge a plus (required)
