This role is vital in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, while maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. As the Lead Maintenance expert, you will manage maintenance teams, implement preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety regulations across all maintenance operations. Responsibilities Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC units, plumbing, electrical systems (high and low voltage), and industrial machinery. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues accurately. Implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to prolong equipment lifespan. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Conduct safety inspections in compliance with safety regulations; enforce safety protocols among team members. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for audit purposes. Lead troubleshooting efforts involving Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, HVAC controls, and other mechanical components. Manage facilities management tasks such as managing vendors, overseeing contractor work, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Train team members on proper maintenance procedures, safety practices, schematics reading, and use of testing tools like ohmmeters. Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing or similar environments. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage), and mechanical equipment. Strong background in industrial maintenance with familiarity using CMMS platforms for work order management. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot engineering issues involving schematics, control systems (including PLCs), and electrical wiring diagrams. Knowledge of safety regulations related to electrical work (high voltage/low voltage), machinery operation, and general facilities management. Experience managing projects from planning through execution with excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in reading technical schematics and using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture. Fluency in English is required for clear communication across all levels of the organization.
