Assistant Maintenance Manager 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Assistant Maintenance Manager - Varia at Highland Village Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance management. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of all equipment. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and maintain low voltage systems. Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, logic controllers, and other critical infrastructure to identify potential issues. Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance activities and ensure minimal downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management. Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work without disrupting production processes. Train staff on safety protocols and best practices in maintenance procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC operations, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings for equipment repair and installation. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on preventive maintenance strategies. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
