Your Recipe for Impact — What You'll Do As a Restaurant Maintenance Supervisor, you play a critical role in keeping our restaurants running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. By leading skilled maintenance teams and guiding preventative strategies across multiple locations, you help ensure our restaurants are always ready to serve communities with pride. Day-to-Day Ingredients — Responsibilities As a Restaurant Maintenance Supervisor, you will: Lead and support Restaurant Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Technicians across assigned locations Ensure 95%+ facility and equipment uptime through proactive maintenance strategies Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and building systems Prioritize and manage reactive and preventative work orders using CMMS tools Develop, monitor, and improve preventative maintenance programs Conduct facility assessments and identify capital improvement needs Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance Ensure compliance with health codes, safety standards, ADA, and brand requirements Coordinate emergency response and after‑hours maintenance coverage Analyze maintenance metrics to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost control Coach, train, and performance‑manage maintenance team members with a focus on safety The Sauce — Pay & Perks As a Restaurant Maintenance Supervisor, you will receive: Competitive Weekly Pay Bonus Program that scales up to 2.5X payout potential based on company results Company Vehicle 5 weeks PTO Paid Corporate Holidays Paid Parental Leave

- Opportunities for Career Development and Growth Whataburger Family Foundation - Scholarship Program (dependents eligible) and Hardship Grant Assistance Discounted Meals for You and a Guest Wireless Service Discounts Computer & Software Discounts Fitness / Gym Discounts Awards and recognition for all you do Retirement Celebration Program What You Bring to the Table — Required Experience As a Restaurant Maintenance Supervisor, you must have: 7+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience 5+ years supporting restaurants, food service, or multi‑site facilities Proven experience managing preventative maintenance programs Advanced knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and building systems Strong understanding of health regulations, building codes, and safety standards Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams Experience managing vendors and external service providers Solid project management, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools EPA 608 Universal Certification and OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain) Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience Extra Toppings — Desired Experience As a Restaurant Maintenance Supervisor, we prefer you to have: Experience supporting large, geographically distributed restaurant portfolios Background in capital planning or equipment replacement initiatives Data‑driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions Comfort leading through change in fast‑paced operational environments Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical partners Where & How You'll Work This role is field‑based, supporting restaurants across an assigned market or region.
