Location:
Summer Brook Apartments 2300 Bill Owen Parkway Longview, TX 75604
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am
  • 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 3 weeks
Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority
  • Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
  • Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
  • Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager
  • Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system
  • Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors
Requirements:
  • HVAC experience required
  • EPA certification required
  • CPO certification a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in the maintenance field
  • 1+ year experience within the multi-family housing industry preferred
  • Experience managing 1+ employees
  • Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
  • Experience with light plumbing and electrical work
  • Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
  • Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
