Job Description

Job description: Maintenance Supervisor Property management company seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor for a community in Lubbock, TX. The maintenance supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, and preventative maintenance for the apartment community. Essential Job Duties:
Manage the maintenance department working with the property manager. Coordinate all vacant unit turns. Execute preventative maintenance program. Inventory control including ordering of all materials and maintaining inventory. Knowledgeable of competitive pricing of supplies. Perform property inspections. Obtain bids and interacts with contractors. Maintains a clean and orderly shop. Adheres to and complies with company safety policies and rules. Assists with resident functions as required. Complete a wide variety of residential service requests, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible. Maintain accurate records of all preventative maintenance, service requests, and make-ready status. Make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, building exteriors, and appliances. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies as needed.
Skills Required:
Great time management and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills High level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations (pool, appliance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
HVAC/EPA
certification. Requires ownership of hand tools Two (2) years supervisory experience in multifamily property maintenance. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
