Cortecgs Position:
CGS is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our operations team for on-going equipment maintenance and preservation in Houston, TX. This is role may require travel within the U.S. or Internationally. A valid Drivers License, TWIC and Passport will be required.
Requirements:
Your day-to-day tasks include: Oversee and carryout preventative maintenance activities of mechanical equipment during storage Organizing work scopes including operational requirements i.e., supplies, materials, logistics, products, associated plans, and paperwork Stakeholder for internal and external communication, and have a commercial understanding Supervise craftsman and labor which may include indirect personnel Coordinating and allocating day-to-day preservation activities as per equipment, OEM and CGS specifications and standards Hands-on application of Cortec© products, appropriate selection, and their use Delivery of OJT (on-the-job) training Read and interpret mechanical drawings, designs, and maintenance manuals Reporting of preventative maintenance activities to management and client Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements Preservation is a specialized industry and one that requires a particular degree of knowledge. Our ideal candidates are likely to demonstrate one or more of the following: Successful candidates will have: Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in construction and or operational maintenance 3-5 years' experience in a supervisor or leadership role High school diploma NCCER Millwright or similar required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong commitment to safety Be able to successfully complete criminal background check, drug and alcohol screen Pass any client / site specific inductions and training Hold a valid driver's license
