Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift (7pm - 7am)

Join Us Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning & Execution:

Inspect equipment periodically to identify problems and determine necessary maintenance. Prepare and manage weekly maintenance schedules, including work allocation. Inspect and maintain building systems (e.g., heating, ventilation, etc.). Participate in the coordination of maintenance and facility-related projects.

Team Leadership & Development:

Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, and train maintenance technicians and tradesmen (e.g., electricians, mechanics). Supervise and provide ongoing training and development for technicians. Assist the Maintenance Manager in the development of the entire maintenance team. Promote and facilitate a positive culture change within the team.

Budgeting, Inventory & Resource Management:

Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance. Monitor inventory levels of materials and equipment to ensure availability and efficiency.

Compliance, Quality & Safety:

Ensure adherence to quality standards and all health and safety regulations.

Requirements and Skills:

Experience & Education:

5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (industrial/manufacturing environment preferred. At least 1-3 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience Technical associate's degree preferred.

Technical Knowledge & Expertise:

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment. Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations. Understanding of budgeting and performance management. Proficiency in developing and implementing best practices.

Core Competencies:

Data-driven with strong analytical skills. Excellent planning and leadership abilities. High attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Systems & Tools:

Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) strongly preferred. Computer savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office.

Certifications:

Professional certifications (e.g., CMRP) is a plus.
