Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, maintain high standards of repair and maintenance, and support the growth of the department through effective leadership and customer-focused strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate daily operations within the service department to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Lead and support service technicians by assigning work orders, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training. Ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. Communicate with customers by preparing estimates, explaining recommended repairs, and ensuring complete satisfaction. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment in alignment with industry best practices. Stay up to date on the latest automotive technologies and repair methods. Ensures that customer satisfaction is a top priority and that customers receive excellent service and support during their visit Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of service drive staff Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business Maintains quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality Ensures that the customer waiting areas are kept clean Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance Performs all other duties associated with the management of a successful dealership experience
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service management role. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Outstanding customer service abilities with a focus on building long-term relationships. Ability to clearly explain technical information to customers. Proficiency in auto estimating software and service writing. Has a proven track record of sustained success 3-5+ years of directly related dealership experience Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrates an honest and caring attitude Is a highly motivated self-starter Dedicated to delivering world-class customer service Aligns with our core values - Respect, Integrity, Selfless Service, and Excellence Why Join Us?
