Job Description

Supervisor Maintenance NEX Patterson-UTI United States, Texas, Midland 4517 West Industrial Avenue (Show on map) May 05, 2026 The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and direct all aspects of the district's maintenance operations. The Supervisor will make decisions regarding maintenance personnel and the operations of the maintenance department and is responsible for the supervision of the maintenance department. Key Accountabilities Coordinate the day-to-day operations of employees through assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work. Direct workforce efforts by providing technical guidance on complex issues On call 24/7 and uses logic, judgment and data to determine effective solutions for personal issues and malfunctioned equipment. Assists with equipment function checks at the facility. Supervises the maintenance staff in the absence of Maintenance Manager. Assist in Supervision of maintenance staff ensuring compliance in HSE. May perform basic tasks in the office, facility and within SAP system including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook etc. Manage vendors and the relationships thereof. Ensure proper storage of products. Follow standard operating procedures, safety work rules and good general practices on equipment. Monitor expenditures and ensure employees properly track repairs on equipment. Has an active role in assigning mentors to entry and lower level mechanics during repairs. Works under no supervision with freedom to act in regards to work methodology. Complies with all company and client Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices and guidelines. Performs work on his/her own as well as provides motivation and direction to other employees as needed. Ensures that all assigned staff participates in all company or customer provided training. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Ability to perform mathematical calculations (including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) is also required. Complies with all company and client Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices and guidelines. Able to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately. Has broad knowledge and perspective, see the big picture and plans for the long-term. Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations. Able to learn and integrate new technical skills and knowledge. Maintains current knowledge in field of expertise. Minimum Required Education H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Required Associates degree
  • Preferred Minimum Required Work Experience 5 years minimum in a related role Licenses & Certifications Valid driver's license
