Job Description

Position Summary The File Maintenance Supervisor oversees accurate item setup, pricing integrity, and promotional execution across the store. This role ensures item files, price changes, advertisements, and signage are maintained correctly to support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily File Maintenance operations, including item setup, price changes, ad execution, and signage accuracy Ensure all price changes, tags, shelf labels, and promotional signs are completed accurately and on time Maintain item file integrity, including UPCs, descriptions, retails, costs, and tax status Support supervision, training, and development of File Maintenance associates Verify pricing accuracy through audits and resolve discrepancies promptly Coordinate ad change execution and communication with department and store leadership Partner with department managers to support new item setup, planogram changes, and resets Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and local, state, and federal pricing regulations Maintain organized work areas, supplies, and equipment Address pricing inquiries and customer concerns professionally and efficiently Communicate pricing issues, system errors, and operational needs to store leadership Uphold safety standards and participate in store‑wide safety and loss prevention initiatives Qualifications Previous retail, grocery, or file maintenance experience preferred Prior lead or supervisory experience a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines Basic computer skills and ability to learn pricing and item management systems Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays Core Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Operational execution Team leadership and accountability Compliance and policy adherence Customer service mindset
