Temp RPM Staffing is looking for a Maintenance Lead in Rowlett, TX!
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with potential for overtime based on production needs)
Pay:
Starting at $35/hour and up, depending on experience Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and team performance at our Rowlett facility. This hands-on leadership role focuses on minimizing downtime, driving continuous improvement, and supporting overall plant operations through strong technical expertise and proactive maintenance strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead maintenance activities across fabrication, assembly, paint, and facility systems. Own and continuously improve the preventive maintenance (PM) program to maximize equipment uptime. Respond quickly to breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate repairs. Manage CMMS, spare parts inventory, and vendor/contractor relationships. Develop and coach maintenance technicians through hands-on training and skill-building. Partner with production leadership to schedule maintenance and reduce operational disruptions. Track and report on OEE, uptime, and maintenance metrics while ensuring safety and compliance. Requirements 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. 2+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience. PLC troubleshooting and CMMS proficiency preferred. Familiarity with CNC lasers, punches, press brakes, paint systems, and related equipment. Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience desired. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
