Maintenance Director

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Director to join our team at Wellington Rehabilitation and Healthcare!

Position type:

Full Time Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance department of our skilled nursing facility. Coordinate, schedule, and respond to all maintenance requests
• Responsible for making sure repairs and replacements are necessary, Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify, minimize and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns
• Manage and order maintenance supplies inventory while adhering to budget guidelines set by the Community Manager
• Ensure all company, state, local or federal health, safety, health, building, fire and insurance codes or requirements are met or exceeded at all times
• Manage inventory and loss control program for the supplies, parts, tools, and equipment of the maintenance department

Qualifications:

• Maintenance experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) required .
• Life Safety experience is required .
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is highly preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, relationship-building skills
