What You'll Do:

Direct the daily operations of the service department to maintain productivity, efficiency, and repair quality. Lead, coach, and support technicians and advisors while promoting accountability, training, and team development. Monitor shop workflow, dispatching, and repair timelines to ensure a smooth customer experience. Review vehicle concerns, diagnostics, and repair recommendations to support accurate estimates and proper repair execution. Address customer questions and service concerns professionally, with a focus on long-term trust and retention. Maintain organized repair orders, service history, and department records in line with dealership standards. Work cross-functionally with parts, sales, and leadership teams to improve communication and support business goals. Ensure compliance with safety practices, manufacturer requirements, and internal operating policies.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience managing automotive service operations in a dealership setting. Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair processes. Hands-on knowledge across areas such as brakes, suspension, steering, tires, alignment, drivability, diesel, and related repair categories. Confidence interpreting repair needs, estimates, and technician recommendations. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate concerns and build loyalty. Comfort managing the financial side of service operations, including repair order review and department performance awareness. Prior experience as a technician, advisor, or other fixed operations role is highly valued. A leadership style that is organized, driven, team-oriented, and effective in a high-volume environment.
