Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within an assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to facilities management. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and comfort of the environment by managing maintenance activities, supervising staff, and coordinating repair projects. Your expertise will contribute to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across all facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Manage project planning and execution for facility upgrades, renovations, or emergency repairs while adhering to safety regulations. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues related to high voltage, low voltage systems, or mechanical failures. Ensure compliance with safety standards including electrical safety protocols such as working with high voltage or low voltage systems. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS software and generate reports for management review. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising maintenance teams in a facilities management context. Extensive mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical and mechanical systems. Experience using CMMS platforms for work order management and maintenance scheduling. Knowledge of HVAC systems, industrial maintenance practices, and safety regulations involving high voltage and low voltage systems. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. Leadership qualities that foster team collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination among team members and stakeholders. Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
