Compensation Range :
$120,000 - $140,000 annually
Clearance:
Tier 1 (Public Trust) required at contract start and maintained for the life of the contract
Position Description:
Teya Support Services is seeking a technically qualified Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to organize, plan, and coordinate the activities of our trades workforce on the Base Operations Support Services contract at Fort Belvoir. Working through subordinate shop leads, you will oversee facility maintenance and a range of installation support services, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and serves as Acting Project Manager during the PM's absence. Compensation and benefits for this position consists of base pay within the range is determined by experience, certifications, and qualifications. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. Organize, plan, and coordinate the activities of subordinate personnel; provide supervision and oversight for trade services. Manage a staff of tradesmen through subordinate lead tradesmen across shops including Facility Maintenance (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Structures, General Maintenance), Pest Management, Solid Waste Management, Grounds Maintenance, Snow/Ice Removal, and Surfaced/Unsurfaced Maintenance. Monitor the scheduling, completion, and documentation of preventive and corrective maintenance; maintain drawings, building files, and maintenance records. Communicate project expectations to team members and subcontractors and track service orders within contract requirements. Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables; define tasks and required resources. Manage budget and allocate project resources; create schedules and project timelines; monitor and report project status. Attend weekly scheduling meetings and provide weekly available productive hours to the Work Control Section for development of the weekly work schedule. Assign weekly work to shop leads and coordinate cross-utilization of skills, loaning labor across shops to address workload surges. Report directly to the Project Manager, act as Project Manager during the PM's absence, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Minimum of ten (10) years of O&M experience, including supervision of a diverse workforce responsible for the O&M and repair of facility systems, subsystems, and equipment typical of a Base Operating Services contract. 10-Hour OSHA General Industry Training Certification and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Training Course. Valid state driver's license and insurable driving record. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Experience or proficiency in GFEBS, Maximo, and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to interpret technical procedures and government regulations and to present information to managers, clients, and the public. Ability to pass a company drug screen and background check, and to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (Public Trust) Clearance and maintain for the life of the contract.
