Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Director to lead our facilities and industrial maintenance operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of maintenance management across manufacturing environments, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge, and hands-on experience with industrial systems. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency across manufacturing processes. Lead and supervise maintenance teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency interventions. Manage maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and inventory levels. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to HVAC systems, electrical installations, high voltage equipment, and industrial maintenance standards. Coordinate projects involving upgrades or installations of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, or other critical infrastructure components. Monitor facility conditions through regular inspections—using tools like ohmmeters—and implement improvements to enhance safety and efficiency. Maintain documentation for schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; oversee the procurement of parts and supplies needed for maintenance activities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing maintenance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions proactively. Experience Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial facilities. Extensive electrical experience with high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge covering industrial machinery, HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and pneumatic/hydraulic components. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, and CMMS software. Demonstrated ability in facilities management including safety compliance, project management, and troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical issues. Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety standards and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and cross-department collaboration. Knowledge of Ohmmeters for electrical testing; familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical circuits is required.
