Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Petersburg, VA Full-Time \u007C 1st Shift Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II - Electrical to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. This role is responsible for overseeing electrical systems, utilities, overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and facility infrastructure while driving safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about building strong teams and ensuring operational excellence in a safety-first culture. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop electrical maintenance technicians Oversee maintenance for utilities, overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and facility systems Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime Partner with operations teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance Conduct audits, analyze maintenance trends, and implement corrective actions Promote and enforce safety programs and emergency preparedness initiatives Utilize CMMS and CAD tools for maintenance planning and documentation Qualifications Engineering degree or high school diploma with 5+ years of electrical experience 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, motors, transformers, and electrical troubleshooting Experience with HVAC systems, baghouses, switchyards, and scale systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and maintenance management software Proven leadership with a strong focus on safety, quality, and team development We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
