Job Description

Overview Our client, a leading supplier of components and systems, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of equipment and machinery. The company has over 60 years of experience as a worldwide leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of components and systems in the automotive sector. Why work here? Responsibilities The Maintenance Manager is responsible for participating in activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in manufacturing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage tasks, assignments, and schedules for personnel within department Analyze mechanical, electrical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plan for and take corrective action to maintain maximum production and quality. Test newly installed or refurbished equipment to ensure fulfillment to specs and safety. Develop and maintain the Preventative Maintenance Program. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime. Trains and oversee newly hired maintenance technicians Troubleshoot PLC problems. Install and maintain program modifications for all machines. Coordinate with internal partners regarding maintenance, installation and removal of equipment issues. Will be required to work necessary overtime and possibly a 2nd or 3rd shift Experience 3-5+ years of experience in automotive/industrial manufacturing High School Diploma/GED required, Degree in Industrial, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering or Journeyman Certification a plus Strong experience in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Welding, electrical circuitry, mechanical machine repair If you are interested in learning more, please apply to this posting.
