Our portfolio includes multifamily properties that are well-maintained and efficiently managed. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of all building systems and infrastructure.Position Summary:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the maintenance team at a multifamily property. You will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing exceptional service to residents.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. Coordinate and oversee vendor and contractor work, ensuring quality and timely completion. Maintain and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls to ensure resident satisfaction. Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs. Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Assist in budgeting and planning for capital improvement projects.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. EPA certification and/or HVAC license preferred. Proficiency in using maintenance management software. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
