Job Description

Join our Engineering team and help keep our commercial property in Bellevue, WA running at it's best. We're looking for a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in maintaining high-performing buildings, delivering great tenant experiences, and supporting a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day — from troubleshooting HVAC systems and completing preventative maintenance to supporting special projects and mentoring junior team members. No two days are the same, and your expertise will play a key role in the daily success of our properties. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and day-to-day operation of building systems and property infrastructure at a commercial property, while helping create a reliable experience for tenants and visitors. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections on building systems and equipment Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Respond to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner Support special tenant improvement and building projects Assist Maintenance Technicians with advanced troubleshooting and repairs Monitor and maintain Energy Management Systems (EMS) and building automation controls, ensuring smooth and safe operations Maintain equipment logs and other operational documentation Perform chemical treatment monitoring for HVAC water systems Manage lock systems, keying configurations, key logs, and access hardware Coordinate with vendors and contractors and inspect completed work Maintain clean, organized engineering and equipment spaces Participate in the engineering on-call rotation Assist at other properties or special projects when needed What We Offer We believe great people deserve great benefits. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, technically skilled, team-oriented, and takes ownership of their work. Skills & Experience Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Experience with building automation systems / EMS controls Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance software systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a dynamic workload Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team A proactive mindset with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required Specialty 07 Electrical License required Technical or trade school certification preferred 5+ years of commercial property or building engineering experience preferred
Pay:
$39.00 - $41.00 per hour
