This is a key leadership position for a hands-on maintenance professional who thrives in heavy industrial settings and enjoys solving complex equipment challenges while developing high-performing teams. What You'll Be Doing As the Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee all mechanical maintenance activities across the facility, ensuring critical production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of maintenance technicians and support personnel Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards Managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime Troubleshooting and resolving chronic equipment reliability issues Planning and coordinating maintenance shutdowns with production leadership Managing work orders, asset records, and maintenance schedules through a CMMS platform Overseeing contractor selection, performance, and specialized maintenance projects Managing spare parts inventory, warehouse support activities, and critical equipment availability Partnering with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to source components and optimize service performance Leading facility improvement initiatives and infrastructure maintenance programs Managing capital projects from planning and budgeting through installation and commissioning Monitoring maintenance budgets, purchase orders, and vendor expenditures Maintaining key operational inventories, utilities systems, and facility performance metrics Preparing monthly maintenance and operational performance report What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline 10+ years of maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment 5+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, piping, and utility infrastructure Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives Hands-on experience with welding, cutting, brazing, and mechanical repairs Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Experience Cooling water systems and water treatment programs Cryogenic systems and high-pressure gas distribution systems Capital project management and facility upgrades Continuous improvement and reliability-centered maintenance practices
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
