This position is compensated with a 2 bedroom apartment valued at $1295 per month and works an estimated 16 hours per week visiting and caring for properties in the general area as assigned. Do you desire a flexible position and a lovely place to live? We may have the perfect job for you! The On-Site Caretaker is a representative of our company to the residents and public they serve. They are responsible for various cleaning and basic maintenance tasks of the property where they live, as well as neighboring properties assigned to their region of support. It is imperative that this person upholds quality standards to ensure resident satisfaction and trust. We are currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and professional Apartment Caretaker to reside at one of our large and well-established communities. Additionally, there will be some neighboring properties assigned to this person. If you are interested in working in the residential housing field and are a "people person", who enjoys talking to prospective residents searching for their next home, managing maintenance needs and quality standards, this position may be for you! This career offers the opportunity to have a flexible job along with providing a beautiful home. With the right personality "fit" and job skills, this position is both varied and rewarding. This position includes an apartment for a total value estimated at $1295 per month.
Skills required for job success:
Experience including a background in excellent customer service and handyman skills. Experience in either property management, apartment management, hotel, motel, the real estate field, retail, sales or applicable customer service is preferrable. Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English. Sales or marketing skills. Detail oriented and organizational skills. Comfortable with the use of emails and able to work with applications or computer software. Enjoy the "apartment" community environment. Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures including Fair Housing laws and safety practices. High School diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid driver's license and insured operable vehicle. Full background check. Neat and clean appearance. Experienced in home maintenance and repair is preferred.Duties and Responsibilities Include:
answering telephone calls for inquiries and resident requests, welcome and show the property to prospective residents, handyman tasks for apartments, interacting with the residents and public in a professional and pleasant manner, "on call" status in accordance with maintenance emergencies, complete required paperwork within timelines, cleaning of vacant apartments, change outside light bulbs as needed, inspect and maintain the cleanly condition of the outside premises and common areas.
