Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Employee to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across various operational areas. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to prevent downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to repair or improve facility structures. Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated equipment in manufacturing or facilities environments. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld. Lead small teams during maintenance tasks, demonstrating leadership and supervising experience while ensuring timely completion of work. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively and implement solutions efficiently. Support customer service efforts by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience with facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or similar roles. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters confidently. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for repair projects. Experience supervising or leading teams in maintenance settings is preferred. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting is highly desirable. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings accurately.
