Tier One Import with Leading Trucks & SUV's Are you a high-energy leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our service department to the next level. You won't just be managing repair orders; you will be the "heartbeat" of the dealership—driving profitability, mentoring a team of elite technicians and advisors, and ensuring every customer leaves with a 5-star experience.
Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring a smooth workflow between the service drive and the bays to maximize technician productivity.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor service advisors and technicians. You are responsible for building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
Monitor and control departmental KPIs, including Effective Labor Rate (ELR), Hours per Repair Order (H/RO), and shop supplies expense.
CSI Mastery:
Actively manage customer relations. You will be the point of escalation for concerns, turning "tough" situations into long-term brand loyalty.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure the shop meets all manufacturer warranty requirements and adheres to OSHA and environmental regulations.
Qualifications Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in automotive service management (Dealership experience preferred).
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with DMS (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and digital inspection tools.
Leadership:
Proven track record of hitting performance targets while maintaining high employee retention.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to explain complex repairs to non-technical customers.
Credentials:
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record are mandatory. ASE or manufacturer certifications are a major plus. Benefits Competitive base salary with aggressive performance-based bonuses.
