Schedule:
Monday•Friday 6am•2:30pm Why Work Here? This position will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and supporting maintenance activities across a large industrial facility. Responsibilities include developing detailed work packages, managing maintenance schedules, coordinating labor and materials, and maintaining accurate asset and work order data within a CMMS platform such as Maximo. The Maintenance Planner will work closely with operations, maintenance, and storeroom personnel to ensure resources, parts, and equipment are available to support efficient execution of planned work. This opportunity offers broad exposure to facility operations, asset reliability initiatives, preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement efforts in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Job Description:
Plan, coordinate, and prepare maintenance work packages to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Review maintenance requests and develop detailed job plans, including labor requirements, materials, tools, permits, and contractor support needs. Utilize the site's CMMS to manage work orders, equipment history, preventive maintenance programs, and scheduling activities. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and storeroom personnel to ensure resources and parts are available prior to job execution. Support outage planning and major maintenance projects by developing schedules, tracking progress, and identifying critical path activities. Analyze equipment maintenance history and reliability data to improve asset performance, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance strategies. Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and overall plant performance. #ENG1
