Position Summary The REM Field Lead is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, facility upkeep, and repair activities across warehouse and commercial properties. This role provides leadership and direction to maintenance technicians and field personnel, ensuring work orders, preventative maintenance, and facility projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The REM Field Lead also monitors facility conditions, supports budgeting efforts, assists with capital improvement projects, and maintains accurate records through the REM software system. What You'll Do Lead, train, and support maintenance technicians and field personnel. Assign, prioritize, schedule, and monitor daily work orders through the REM software system. Provide guidance on troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance best practices. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Assist with employee development and performance support. Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance for warehouse and commercial properties. Respond to and prioritize emergency maintenance issues. Perform or oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, doors, docks, and general building systems. Monitor facility conditions and recommend repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements. Help support budgeting, expense tracking, and vendor coordination. Maintain accurate work orders, inspection records, and maintenance documentation. Support renovations, improvement projects, and supply inventory needs. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical certification preferred. 5+ years of maintenance, facilities, or warehouse operations experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems. Ability to read blueprints, maintenance manuals, and technical documents. Experience with work order systems and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. MHE certifications or related knowledge preferred. CDL preferred. Skills for Success Strong leadership and accountability. Excellent organization and time management.
