Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager with a strong background in industrial electronics, electrical systems, and machine diagnostics . This role will lead maintenance efforts within Production Processes (PP), ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is an expert in troubleshooting and repairing electronic drives, motors, controllers, sensors, and automated machine components , as well as reading and interpreting electrical schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude is also essential. Key Responsibilities Electrical / Electronic Systems Diagnose and repair issues related to controllers, drives, PLCs, motors, sensors, and electronic components . Trace wiring, identify electrical faults, and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams . Program, calibrate, and maintain electronic drives, motor controls, and related automation equipment . Perform failure analysis on electronic components and recommend corrective actions. Maintenance Leadership Manage daily maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime of production equipment. Prioritize maintenance tasks and coordinate resources based on production needs. Work closely with outside contractors and vendors for specialized diagnostics and repairs. Maintain maintenance logs, documentation, and equipment records. Mechanical Maintenance Conduct general mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Support machine rebuilds, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Ensure safe machine operation and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical and mechanical systems. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and optimize performance. Monitor machine performance and implement predictive maintenance practices. QualificationsRequired 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with strong electrical/electronic focus. Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic drives, PLCs, motors, and motion control systems . Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and technical manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (PP experience a plus). Working knowledge of programming or parameterizing VFDs, servo drives, or PLCs . Technical degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Tech, Mechatronics , or related field. Supervisory or team lead experience.
