Job Summary Hartnell Chevrolet is seeking a Service Manager to join our family. Hartnell has been servicing the Southeastern WI, area since 1919, is locally owned and not part of a big corporate dealer group. Keep reading

Responsibilities and Duties Leadership & Productivity Supervise advisors, technicians, and porters to ensure full productivity Recruit, train, and develop staff; drive accountability and growth Operations & Quality Create processes where the department may be failing Ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently 1st time Maintain inspection processes and high facility standards Business Growth Business minded in creating business plans for each quarter Drive sales and customer retention Improve service experience and sales-to-service transition Financial & Compliance Manage labor rates, costs, and departmental performance Ensure compliance with GM standards and regulations Training & Culture Lead ongoing training and development and mentor staff in future career paths Build a motivated, high-performance team Qualifications and Skills Three to five years of management experience Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems Must have a valid driver's license Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles Demonstrated customer service skills Previous industry knowledge of overall operations, management and wholesale relations (preferred)
