Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor•

Maintenance Salary:
$95,000
  • $110,000 What You Will Do 1) Lead Safe Maintenance Execution Provide visible, hands-on leadership to ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in full compliance with site policies (LOTO, confined space, hot work, equipment isolation, and contractor safety).
Proactively identify risks, verify hazards, and ensure proper controls are in place before and during work execution. Reinforce strong safety and environmental practices, including food safety standards, housekeeping, waste handling, and equipment guarding. 2) Own Nightly Maintenance Operations (Plan → Execute → Close) Lead execution of the maintenance schedule by aligning daily priorities with production needs and coordinating equipment access during night shift operations.
Ensure job readiness:
clear scope, proper tools and parts, work instructions, and skilled labor assignments. Drive high-quality work order completion in the CMMS, including accurate documentation, failure codes, and follow-up actions. 3) Drive Equipment Reliability & Precision Maintenance Promote and coach best practices in mechanical maintenance, including: Precision alignment and installation of equipment Proper lubrication practices and contamination control Effective troubleshooting and root cause problem-solving Installation and maintenance of bearings, belts, chains, motors, conveyors, and packaging equipment Partner with operations to reduce downtime and eliminate recurring equipment issues. 4) Lead and Develop the Maintenance Team Set clear expectations for safety, quality, and performance across the night shift maintenance team. Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to build technical and leadership capability. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 5) Support Repairs, Projects, and Continuous Improvement Coordinate major repairs and maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and minimal disruption to production. Support installation and startup of new equipment or process improvements. Work with leadership to identify and implement reliability and efficiency improvements across the facility. 6) Strengthen Preventive Maintenance Execution Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. Turn equipment inspections and condition findings into planned corrective work. Continuously improve maintenance processes to increase uptime and reduce emergency repairs. What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months) Reduction in unplanned downtime and emergency maintenance during night shift. Improved schedule execution with fewer delays due to parts, planning, or access issues. Increased equipment reliability and fewer repeat mechanical failures. A more engaged, accountable, and skilled maintenance team. Strong collaboration between maintenance and production teams.

overtime management, parts usage, contractor efficiency Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial maintenance environments. Proven ability to lead or supervise teams in a fast-paced setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on equipment reliability and preventive maintenance. What Will Set You Apart Experience in food or bakery manufacturing environments. Hands-on expertise with conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging equipment, and mechanical drive systems. Experience using a CMMS (or similar maintenance system). Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Technical training, certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
