Job Description

JOB Description Join our dynamic team as a Plant Maintenance Planner and be the driving force behind efficient, reliable, and safe manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, develop comprehensive schedules, and ensure that all equipment and facilities operate at peak performance. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, optimize resource utilization, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality across our plant. Responsibilities Develop detailed maintenance schedules for equipment, facilities, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and high/low voltage infrastructure to ensure continuous operation. Coordinate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and management to prioritize work orders and allocate resources effectively. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and asset performance data for informed decision-making. Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected failures. Review schematics, technical manuals, and electrical/mechanical diagrams to facilitate accurate troubleshooting and repairs. Manage projects related to facilities management, including upgrades to HVAC systems or electrical infrastructure, ensuring timely completion within scope. Supervise maintenance activities during planned outages or emergency repairs while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, safety checks, and compliance reports. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing maintenance data to identify areas for efficiency gains and cost savings. Skills Strong management skills with experience supervising maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical troubleshooting techniques including use of ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools. Extensive knowledge of CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, high/low voltage electrical systems, and industrial maintenance standards. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Experience managing projects related to plant infrastructure upgrades or repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate across teams effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities with supervising experience in fast-paced environments requiring proactive problem-solving.
