What will you do? Oversee the operation of all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, services, and equipment Perform carpentry, painting, and track operations Ensure tools and equipment are in working order, and keep the maintenance room in a neat condition Conduct inventories and complete paperwork, work orders, and logs Participate in fire prevention and other life safety programs and report accidents, injuries, and property damage to the supervisor Operates motor vehicle if necessary More about you Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory position Experience with machinery, metalworking, landscaping, and locksmith duties Must have a general knowledge of the use of simple equipment used in building trades Must possess a valid driver's license No college degree required Physical requirements Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders to perform repairs Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally Exposure to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons Shift details Days Evenings Overnight Holidays Weekends 8hr shift Events OT as needed Who we are Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, West Virginia, is a Delaware North-owned-and-operated regional gaming destination featuring 1,300 electronic gaming machines, 22 table games, live greyhound racing, and simulcast wagering.
