QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Must have a good degree of mechanical aptitude. Must have a MVD license and a good driving record. Must be physically able to perform the duties required.
DUTIES:
  • Turn off, remove, reset, change, turn on gas meters and combinations thereof, in accordance with established procedures. This includes the re-lighting of gas appliances and the resetting and/or adjustment of service regulators if necessary.
  • Inspect gas facilities on customers' premises for safety and adherence to safety codes.
Assists other field men in related duties.
