Job Summary Utility B is responsible for reading residential and commercial gas meters and recording readings using handheld computers via walking and mobile routes. Meter readers also interact with customers to gain access to premises and answer questions as required while completing routine meter inspections and performing collections work. Company vehicle is provided. Duties and Responsibilities Reading residential and commercial meters and recording readings using handheld computers via walking and mobile routes. Complete routine meter work and inspections. Perform collections, CWIPs, Rereads, and many other miscellaneous orders, etc. Perform other duties as requested. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
