The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various machinery and systems. This role requires proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety and quality. Duties Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and schematics. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service and support for equipment installations and repairs. Operate scissor lifts safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights. Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve equipment issues at customer locations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and high/low voltage electrical systems. Experience with welding techniques; welding certification is a plus. Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance practices. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Military experience is advantageous but not required.
