In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision alignment skills, and a solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in industrial environments. Duties Assemble, Install, align, dismantle, and troubleshoot machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and precision measuring instruments. Perform assembly on new equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical control systems. Repair or replace defective mechanical parts using welding, cutting tools, and other industrial maintenance techniques. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to build and commission machinery. Conduct field service tasks involving analysis skills to diagnose issues with machinery, ensuring minimal downtime. Operate various tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, micrometers, calipers, hand tools, forklifts and other industrial equipment safely within a manufacturing facility environment. Collaborate with engineering and project management to support customer service efforts by providing expert maintenance insights and troubleshooting assistance. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or Millwright within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, hydraulics, and welding techniques.. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Electrical experience including low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and use of electrical testing tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Ability to operate field service equipment like fork lifts safely; valid certifications are preferred. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay:
$28.74 - $34.61 per hour
