Position Responsibilities - Essential Perform routine lubrication of machinery and equipment, including bearings, gears, and other moving parts Regularly inspect equipment to identify lubrication needs and potential issues Monitor lubricant levels and quality Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities, including types of lubricants used, schedules, and any issues encountered Diagnose and resolve lubrication-related problems to prevent equipment failures and downtime Perform miscellaneous housekeeping duties including sweeping and mopping floors, painting shelves, racks, and aisle markers, etc. Assist with PMs as needed/directed Use CMMS system to report all jobs completed Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a "safety-sensitive" position Position Responsibilities - Non-Essential/Other Other duties and special projects as assigned Essential Skills and Experience High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or lubrication Basic mechanical skillset Knowledge of basic hand tools and the functions of them Proficient in using lubrication tools and equipment Strong understanding of lubrication principles, types of lubricants, and their applications Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate a high level of customer service and strong communication (both listening and speaking) and interpersonal skills Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job but with minimal direct supervision An understanding of the Safety Requirements for equipment and tools Basic computer skills Ability to complete a required pulmonary function test and a fit test to wear a respirator which requires the individual to be clean shaven with the exception of a mustache not extending beyond the edges of the mouth Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s) Beneficial Skills and Experience Greater than 1 year of oil analysis testing Relevant certifications in industrial maintenance or lubrication are a plus MLT1 Certification preferred Company Description We are a customer-focused, integrated maintenance company operating projects throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
