None Required. The Opportunity You will take charge of daily field operations, driving the successful physical installation of complex commercial mechanical systems. This role provides the field independence to direct active trade crews while executing hands-on technical layouts directly on the ground. You will directly impact jobsite productivity, crew safety, and system build quality for an established regional contractor. How You Will Make An Impact Lead field crews in the precise installation and layout of commercial HVAC and mechanical infrastructure. Direct daily jobsite workflows to guarantee productivity levels align with master project schedules. Read, evaluate, and interpret complex mechanical blueprints and structural schematics to guide field personnel. Coordinate with the project Superintendent and Manager to streamline resource allocations and field logistics. Enforce absolute compliance with corporate safety rules and OSHA regulations across your designated zone. Maintain accurate field documentation tracking labor hours, material consumption, and daily production milestones. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical conflicts or site logjams promptly to prevent installation delays. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 1 year of verified supervisory or lead field experience within commercial mechanical construction. Proven technical capability to interpret commercial mechanical prints, structural layouts, and material schematics. Solid track record managing field labor crews and organizing workflows within fast-paced construction zones. Strong verbal communication skills necessary to direct diverse trade teams and interface with leadership. High level of reliability, personal accountability, and deep practical knowledge of mechanical assembly. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Prior hands-on experience as a commercial sheet metal mechanic, pipefitter, or refrigeration technician. Completed safety milestones including an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction credential. Familiarity with modern commercial mechanical fabrication methods, rigging layouts, and automated equipment setups.
