Job Description Position Summary:
Level Two:
Level 2 Millwright works with no supervision. Ability to expediently troubleshoot and repair complex equipment systems i.e. mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and positioning. Capable of reading schematics, P&IDs, and orthographic/assembly machine drawings. Demonstrate welding/fabrication and machining skills. Proper utilization of hand tools and instruments for equipment relocation/set-up, rebuilds and maintenance. Must provide proof of certification completion regarding formal and on the job training in achievement of Millwright title. 10+YOE Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots, modifies, repairs and installs manufacturing machinery, tools, and equipment for vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, induction, heating, lubrication, abrasive and pressure cleaning systems, and their components.
- Troubleshoots and repairs facilities' operations and physical systems.
- Performs plumbing, machining, welding and fabrication to machinery, tools and equipment components as required to maintain systems.
- Recognizes and responds to Hazardous Materials spills. (TBO, LSBO only)
- May be required to complete hazardous waste training and work with hazardous waste.
- Completes logs and records.
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.

- Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Perform all levels of equipment repair.
- Work with production to prioritize repairs.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting.
- Install, calibrate, trouble shoot, and program microprocessor based instruments.
- Dismantle and inspect production equipment as needed.
- Interface with vendors and contractors (equipment repairs, facilities, etc.)
- Provide leadership and training to level one, two and three maintenance technicians.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
- Basic English language skills and the ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced technical knowledge of controls and interfaces.
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - advanced computer skills
- The ability to read and interpret work instructions and advanced prints and dimensions Experience & Education
- 10 plus years of manufacturing experience; prior military experience; or technical certification / degree required
- Certified apprenticeship, or AAS degree in mechatronics required
- GED or High School diploma required
Working Conditions:
- Constant exposure to indoor / outdoor manufacturing environment
- Constant exposure to moderate noise
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot / cold temperatures, inside / outside noise vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to work 1st Shift Weekend Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6am to 6pm.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for up to twelve (12) hours.
- Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling of materials.
- Must be able to safety operate an overhead crane, boom lift and manlift.
- Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level.
- Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery.
- Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator.
- Visual acuity skill to detect any flaws in the parts being inspected.
