Job Description:

Florida Beef, Inc., is hiring an experienced Millwright to join our Maintenance Team. This role requires advanced mechanical skills and welding experience , with a focus on maintaining, installing, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure plant operations run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and mechanical systems. Fabricate and modify equipment using MIG and/or Stick welding techniques. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, layouts, and schematics. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues with conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Ensure all welding and mechanical work meets safety and quality standards. Operate forklifts, hoists, and other equipment safely to support maintenance activities. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to company and OSHA safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or vocational training preferred. Minimum 5 years of millwright experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in welding (MIG, Stick required; TIG is a plus). Ability to fabricate brackets, supports, and other components as needed. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, kneeling). Food processing experience is a plus but not required.
